Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Jobboarder (“the Service”), operated by Jobboarder (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering and to keep that information up to date.

License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the Service except to the extent expressly permitted by your subscription plan.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post job listings that are unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, or misleading.
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or any underlying systems.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service in a way that is not contemplated by these Terms.
  • Use the Service to violate applicable laws or the rights of others.

We may suspend or remove content, listings, or accounts that breach these rules.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you publish through the Service (job listings, branding, pages, blog posts, subscriber lists). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, display, and process that content solely as needed to operate the Service on your behalf.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to publish the content you upload and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate any law.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as chosen at signup). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in your plan.

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until that point. If we change pricing, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice before the change applies to your account.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Service in a way we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification) survive termination.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content sourced into your board is accurate, current, or appropriate for your audience.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify the Service or update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by email or via the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless a different forum is required by applicable consumer-protection law.
